Who is Caleb?
Hailing from Harvard, Massachusetts, Caleb is a rip roaring, string bending, pedal tapping, amp cranking guitarist. He earned his degree from Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring and Music Business, and is a founding member of the band Smilin' Isaac. He also plays in Mutineer and Kind King. He's also an expressive, jazz guitarist. He's a composer who writes music that strikes a chord to the feeling and emotion of the work he's writing for. He's an audio engineer with an ear for detail and a mind for creativity and collaboration. He's a producer that prides himself on earning the respect of artists and loves nothing more than helping them achieve their vision. He's a completionist who sees work through; from infancy to achieved vision. He puts 100% into each project he works on. He's a fly fisherman. He loves cats. He's a passionate artist who cares deeply about quality and art for art's sake. And at the end of the day, he's a person; who cares about equality, diversity, inclusivity, and strives to do the right thing. During normal work hours, you can find him sending audio directly to your ears through NPR's mid-day national broadcast Here & Now, where he serves as the Senior Technical Director and head audio engineer.
